What is Energy2care?

Energy2care is part of Swindon Borough Council (SBC), Adult Social Care (ASC) team. We provide caring, well trained, highly motivated, skilled casual staff to work within joint services ASC & Primary Care Trust (PCT) establishments.

At present we offer duties to personnel to work within SBC’s establishments. We are constantly growing and it is anticipated that in the not too distant future we will be looking at providing staff to the private sector.

Considering a career in care?

If you are considering a career in care then look out for the regular job advertisements for Energy2care. These appear in both the local free press and on the SBC website. You do not need to have any care experience. We are looking for people who show a keen interest in the needs of older people and want to care for them. We will do the rest for you through our training programme (see services)

In the near future, as part of Energy2care’s planned expansion, it will incorporate provision of care staff to both a night care service and a toenail cutting service.

We embrace the concept of Energy2work and within Energy2care we offer an eight week administration training placement to support one of the trainees from the Energy2work programme.
